This week in PE, HSH students are learning how to move all over again. Whether they know how to run or not, students have been practicing moving their bodies and making sure they understand how and why we move the way they do. We do this by doing drills that involve running while looking forward and stopping at a moment’s notice as well as games that practices those drills. Also, at the end of each class students learn about a fruit or veggie of the month to get them excited about healthy habits. This month, we are focusing on apples, and so far students have learned why they taste so good and that they protect you from heart disease. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
