We made it! The mad dash to Spring Break is over, and starting this Friday at noon, or after the final show of our spring musical Dear Edwina, we can begin to enjoy some much-needed rest, relaxation, and recuperation.

This time of year marks the start of many new beginnings. It is the beginning of spring, with the vernal equinox having just taken place last night. We also have many Spring celebrations including the celebration of Nowruz, Easter, and shortly after we return, we will celebrate Passover. In my family, we also celebrate the start of baseball season! We hope that whatever this Spring season brings for you may it be met with wonder and peace.

When we get back from Spring Break, we have much to look forward to. Our annual Gala is coming up on April 13th, and I hope to see you there. Our Parent Association has been planning tirelessly to make this event a success, and I am so thankful for all of their hard work and generous dedication of their time, skills, and resources. We have several exciting trips coming up, from the 6th grade Astro Camp excursion to our 4th grade Sacramento trip. And of course, we celebrate our amazing 6th graders and their families as they begin the final countdown to the end of their years at HSH.

I thank you all for your enthusiastic commitment to and support of our vibrant community.
