ECE After School (PS & JK)

Hollywood Schoolhouse is excited to bring back our Early Childhood after school program. Each day, our Early Childhood Teacher Assistants will plan a variety of activities and provide a daily snack for all children. Preschool children will form one cohort and Jr. Kindergarten children will form another cohort for after school.

Our after school program hours are 4:00pm-6:00pm, and the fee is $4.50 for each 15 minute interval after 4pm. Please note: if you have a child in Elementary and ECE, pick up both students by 3:30pm unless your Elementary student is enrolled in the Elementary after school program.

In an effort to staff accordingly, we are asking all ECE families to complete this form if you plan for your child to attend our ECE after school program.

Elementary After School

For the fall elementary after school program, Hollywood Schoolhouse has partnered with Prime Time to create The After Schoolhouse + Prime Time. After running a successful summer program, we felt that Prime Time was the best equipped group to seamlessly run this year’s after school programming, as they are already familiar with our students and health and safety protocols.

The program will begin with three sessions and the hours will be Monday to Friday 3:30pm-6pm. The pickup time is flexible as long as it is by 6pm. Elementary students must be picked up by 3:30pm unless they are registered for the after school program. Students must be registered for a full session/five days per week. Partial sessions for specific days are not available. After School is not offered on days when school closes at noon.

Traditional drop-in extended care for Elementary will not be provided due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Registration is required and space is limited. Students must be registered for a full session. Registration for a partial session is not available.

There are three sessions with the following dates and prices:

  • January: $525
  • February: $525
  • March: $525

Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Students will be divided into stable cohorts with a maximum of 16 students with 2 counselors per cohort (8:1 staffing ratio). Cohorts will be determined by grade level and the following grades will be included in each cohort:

  • Kindergarten and 1st Grade
  • 2nd and 3rd Grade
  • 4th, 5th and 6th Grade

All Prime Time staff will be masked, vaccinated and tested weekly.

Each day, Prime Time’s highly-skilled staff will lead your child through a rotation of classes and activities uniquely designed by age group:

  • Homework Support
  • Art and STEAM Programs
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Daily Snack

Initially all activities will be conducted outdoors for safety reasons, and changes may be made to the program as safety protocols are updated.

Refunds and Withdrawals

There are no refunds for missed program days. If a student is withdrawn within the first five days of the session, a full refund for the unused days for that session will be issued. If withdrawal occurs after the first five days of the session, no refund will be issued for that session.

In the event that COVID-19 safety protocols do not allow for the operation of the program, full refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the session.
