Ms. Sandra was born and raised here in California. When she was fourteen years old, her parents retired and decided to move to Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. Her parents wanted her to experience her culture, so while in Mexico she took cooking classes, Folkloric dance, and spent time learning about Mexico’s traditions. She lived in Mexico for four years where she graduated high school and then moved back to Los Angeles to continue her education. Ms. Sandra received her certification in Property Management and worked as a Property Manager for eleven years and, through hard work and determination, she obtained her ECE Associate Teacher state permit. She has three children and soon discovered Hollywood Schoolhouse’s unique community. For several years, Ms. Sandra would bring her children to HSH’s summer camp and afterschool program, “PALS”, twice a week in the evenings where she would volunteer teaching cooking, drill team, and art. She soon discovered her love of teaching young children and decided she needed to make a change in her career. She has been part of Hollywood Schoolhouse for over ten years, has taught Spanish for 5 years, and currently works in the Panda class.
Ms. Sandra loves her job and teaching young children, giving them the tools they will need to succeed.
