Each week of our camp has a different theme, tying together our plans for discovery during that week. This year, our Week One theme is Spies, Detectives, and Mysteries, while our Week Two theme is Tournaments and Challenges.

Week 1: Springtime Explorers: Bugs, Blooms & Beyond
Our campers will become little nature explorers! Through bug investigations, planting activities, sensory play, art, stories, and outdoor adventures, children will explore the wonders of spring. Our days will be filled with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful hands-on experiences that support social, emotional, and developmental growth.
Bug hunts with magnifying glasses (real or pretend!)
Flower planting or seed sorting
Process art with flowers, leaves, and bug stamps
Stories like The Very Hungry Caterpillar or Planting a Rainbow
Movement games: “butterfly flying,” “wiggly worm yoga”
Sensory bins with soil, plastic insects, scoops, and pots
Week 2: Little Scientists: Weather, Water & Wonder
This week, children will explore science through hands-on discovery and play. Campers will investigate weather, experiment with water, observe changes, and explore cause and effect through simple experiments, sensory play, art, movement, and stories. Our little scientists will ask questions, make predictions, and discover that learning can be fun, messy, and full of wonder!
Weather fun: wind, rain, sun, clouds
Water play: pouring, floating, sinking, splashing
Simple experiments: color mixing, ice melting, rain clouds in jars
Movement games: “wind blowing,” “rainstorm dance”
Process art using droppers, spray bottles, and watercolors
Stories like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs or The Watermelon Seed
