The After-Schoolhouse
After-school hours at Hollywood Schoolhouse are designed to keep the curiosity going long after the school day ends. Whether it’s time to center bodies and minds, engage with friends, or dive into creative exploration, our after-care program offers a safe and supportive space for students to spend their afternoons.
With dedicated care for both Early Childhood and Elementary students, families can rely on consistent routines, flexible scheduling, and peace of mind.

Students who are choosing to participate in the musical must commit to the rehearsals on the assigned days, as it is an endeavor that requires commitment and practice.
-
No, as there is no need. You can simply let your child stay after school for extended care, and you will be billed at $7.00 for every 15 minutes. The cost is capped at $550.00 per month. You will never be charged more than that per month for extended care.
-
No, unless you pick up your child after class ends. For example, if your child’s class ends at 5:00PM, and you are not here at that time, we will begin charging you at 5:01PM in 15-minute increments. All children must be picked up by 6:00PM.
You will NOT be charged for the time before an after-school class begins OR the time in between classes if your child has signed up for two after-school enrichment classes. There will be a small amount already included in the class fee to cover supervision costs and snacks.
-
Extended care has several full-time staff members to supervise children. A room for homework will be provided. Children will be able to play outside and play with board games, blocks, etc. We will have some snacks available for children who may forget or want one. We do recommend packing an extra snack for your child in case they do not like what is available.
-
Children will be logged based on the time that they are picked up. Billing will be submitted each week to your FACTS account for the week prior.
-
No. If your child is receiving private tutoring with a staff member, you will not get charged for the time that they are in their session. However, if you do not pick up your child after the session ends, you will be charged at the rate provided.
-
If an enrichment class is canceled, then you will be refunded for that class. You will then be charged for extended care instead.
-
Our Business Office will issue reimbursements after the entire session is over. You will receive a check from the school.
-
If you enroll and pay the registration, you are officially registered. If a class has reached its limit, the system will not allow you to enroll. We will also send out emails to families confirming enrollment.
-
If we don’t have enough children to run a class, we will cancel it. You will be notified via email.
