Fostering an environment of acceptance, belonging, and connection every single day.

Every parent is a part of our Parent Association, led by an Executive Board that works hard to foster a parent community that matches the spirit and camaraderie of our faculty, staff, and student body. The PA Board meets monthly to plan events, give back to Hollywood Schoolhouse and the community at large, and find innovative ways to connect parents across grade levels. They enrich our program by welcoming new families, by acting as ambassadors to fellow parents, and by modeling volunteerism for our students.

Get involved right now.

The Parent Association encourages all parents to find a way to get involved in the Schoolhouse community, and there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to do just that. From volunteering in the Library or Community Garden to helping with the Book Fair or next big community event, all parents are invited to sign up to participate as they are able.

Giving back, in many ways.

Hollywood Schoolhouse believes in the importance of being civically engaged members of our community, and the Parent Association works year-round to provide opportunities for parents and students to come together in service to the community around us. There are many opportunities for every Schoolhouse family to become more actively engaged members of the Hollywood community.

Coming together as one community.

The most significant fundraising event of the Parent Association’s year is the Spring Gala. By purchasing tickets, donating auction items, and volunteering, we encourage the entire Schoolhouse community to come together in support of this event that is a time-honored Schoolhouse tradition and important event championing Tuition Assistance at HSH.

“My favorite part of Hollywood Schoolhouse is the people I get to see on a daily basis. It feels like it’s not only my children’s school, but it’s my school. It feels like coming home.”
