Grade 1, Lead Teacher

Stacy Veith

Ms. Stacy is one of the 1st Grade teachers at the Hollywood Schoolhouse. She has spent 27 years at the school as a lead teacher in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, and 4th. Stacy looks at Hollywood schoolhouse as her second home where she has developed strong friendships with her co-workers and has been a huge part in the school’s rich history.

In 1991, Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California Los Angeles in Sociology Psychology. A few years later she attended Pacific Oaks teacher credential and masters program.

Stacy is a proud mother of a 16 year old daughter who had the wonderful experience to attend the Hollywood Schoolhouse from preschool through 6th. This has been a great insight for Stacy. Being a parent of the school and an educator has developed a more in depth understanding of parent’s feelings and children’s learning.

Stacy loves to travel and has been to many places around the world such as Kenya, Australia, and Portugal to name a few.

Outside of school, Stacy has a passion for cooking and baking which she finds to be very therapeutic. She is also an avid reader which feeds into her addiction to buying books, especially children’s books.
