Laura Rodriguez

Ms. Laura is one of the lead teachers in the Caterpillars class. She has been a part of the Hollywood Schoolhouse family for many years. Ms. Laura is an alumni of Hollywood Schoolhouse, and graduated in 2003. That same year she returned to the Schoolhouse as a camp counselor in the summer program, and later worked as an after-school staff member for three years. After working with many age groups, Ms.Laura dedicated her time in college to study Early Childhood Development. In 2009, Ms. Laura joined the Hollywood Schoolhouses Early Childhood Division. Since then, she has received a degree in Child Development, and is currently attending California State University of Northridge.

Ms. Laura’s time at Hollywood Schoolhouse has made her passionate about working with young children. Most importantly, she strongly believes in establishing a creative learning environment that provides each child the necessary resources for their own independent growth. Ms. Laura loves the diverse community of the Hollywood Schoolhouse, and views the school as her second home.

When Ms. Laura is not teaching she enjoys listening to music, reading, hiking, going to the beach, watching movies in the theaters, and spending time with family.
