Arie Durich

Coach Arie has been playing sports since he was three years old. Everything from baseball to basketball, he has even dabbled in water polo! Arie focused on baseball and soccer growing up, then changed from soccer to football before high school. At West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch, CA, Arie was a two sport athlete – football and swimming. Eventually he was able to earn college scholarships for football, and graduated from San Francisco State University. After that he returned home and became an assistant to his high school swim coach. Now, Arie is brought to us by Fun and Sports, the company with which he has worked for six years teaching kids across Los Angeles to be active. Sports and being active are still and will always be a big part of his life.

Entering his third year with Hollywood Schoolhouse, Arie loves to watch kids succeed in not only being good athletes, but in learning to be great people. Arie is half Chinese and half German/Russian. In his spare time he enjoys watching movies, writing, playing basketball, and working out.
