Why HSH? Hollywood Schoolhouse is the best! Differences are welcomed and celebrated here. HSH allows me to fully be myself at work and gives me opportunities to share my passions with my students. Hollywood Schoolhouse also fosters an environment where I’m not only the teacher, but I get to be a lifelong learner by interacting with admin, my coworkers, and the students themselves.

What causes or non-profits do you support and why? Project Angel Food, Gay for Good, and TreePeople are a few of the organizations I support. These three organizations are very close to my heart, and the work they do for the communities they serve is incredibly impactful.

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? I love line dancing. I have been line dancing for almost 20 years, and I have been on a dance team for the past 5. Dancing is one of the most joyful things there is.

What piece of advice would you give to a graduating sixth grader? Take risks and never be afraid to be yourself. You are wonderful!
