Math Coach and Collaboratory Facilitator

Nicole Sangastiano

Science and math and learning, oh my! Nicole has been passionate about educating since her career began in schools in 2006. Nicole has taught 2 year olds to read, 5 year olds to dance, 8 year olds to fall in love with books and 16 years to find creative solutions wherever they go. She has her career both teaching children and instructional coaching teachers and conducting professional development for both her school districts and Harvard. Nicole loves every facet of education. It was this love that encouraged her to pursue a Masters in Elementary Education… and a second Masters degree in School Administration. She has taught in the states and abroad, including New Hampshire, North Carolina and China. She joins us from a STEaM Academic Directorship in Shanghai, China. Nicole’s hero is Albert Einstein. Her educational philosophy stems from a famous quote, “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.” While she believes that her students do in fact have special talents, she encourages all of her students to be fiercely curious and create a world of wonder and learning in and out of her classroom. She is so excited to be a part of the HSH family.
