Elizabeth was born and raised in a small town of the “biggest little state in the union”: Rhode Island. Throughout her academic journey, Elizabeth volunteered her time in urban public school elementary classrooms. While working towards obtaining her B.A., Elizabeth completed a variety of education courses, such as Psychology of Learning, student teaching, and the American Education. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, she packed up the car and traded snow storms for palm trees.
She is passionate about physical fitness and has received certifications from the American Aerobic Association International (AAAI) & International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA): Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. Another one of her passions is music and she has taught private piano lessons to students ranging in age from young elementary to middle school.
During her free time, Elizabeth enjoys running and exercising, reading, and relaxing on the beach–she’s never too far from the ocean!
We know Elizabeth has heard many wonderful stories about HSH as she comes to us through our Technology Integration Specialist, Lisa Smith, and we look forward to making new memories with her in the years to come.
