I completed both my undergraduate studies and credential program at CSUN and received my M.Ed from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Leadership Skills. I am the youngest of three children. I have a brother who lives in Vietnam and a brother who splits his time between London and Los Angeles. I am a passionate educator invested in my students and their families. In the fifteen years I have been teaching, I create a classroom community where students feel safe to take risks, curiosity is encouraged, respect is modeled, self-discovery is supported, sharing of ideas is invited, and nurturing and consistency are provided. My role as an educator is to guide students to meet their fullest potential intellectually, socially, and emotionally. In my free time, I am in nature- hiking, swimming, biking, walking, practicing yoga, and exploring. I love to travel and plan my vacations around nature- I love the ocean, mountains, discovering and learning about new cultures, customs, and ways of life around the world.
