Ms. Jessica is one of the second grade teachers at Hollywood Schoolhouse. She will begin her 13th year as a 2nd Grade teacher, but this is her 17th year with HSH. Jessica has also taught 3rd Grade, Kindergarten, and was a lead teacher in a classroom designed for students with learning differences. Through all of her various experiences, the opportunity to make connections with children continues to serve as her motivation to work in the field of education.
Jessica grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. She had her first taste of city life while attending Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Upon graduation, she decided to ditch snow scrapers for sunshine, and moved to Los Angeles with two childhood friends. Since that memorable cross-country trek, life has changed significantly. Jessica now has an amazing family with three spectacular children, two of which attend Hollywood Schoolhouse. She enjoys spending her time with family, and exploring the many sights and activities of Los Angeles. Adventures outdoors, learning from exhibits, or discovering new places are all favorite pastimes. In the quest of being a life-long learner, Jessica hopes to gain some Spanish conversational skills this year! BS in Elementary Education and Psychology.
