Grade 3, Lead Teacher

Francesca Liuzzi

Francesca has been part of the Hollywood Schoolhouse community for the past nine years. She held the position of first grade teacher for the first three years and has been the third grade teacher for the past six.

Growing up, Francesca always knew she wanted to be a teacher. She attended Loyola Marymount University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies and completed her preliminary teaching credential. She later cleared her teaching credential through UCLA.

This is Francesca’s 13th year as a head teacher in an elementary school. Francesca loves teaching and working alongside children of all ages.

Francesca was born here in Los Angeles, but in 1989 moved to Italy with her family and lived there for ten years. Her parents wanted her and her younger siblings to grow up with a real connection to their Italian heritage and culture. Currently she lives in Westchester with her wonderful husband, Jason, and adorable daughters, Sofia and Viviana. Sofia is a Kindergarten student and Viviana will be returning to  the Schoolhouse community this year as a student in the Lions class. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
